    This workshop is for anybody who wants to learn about their own mind, their way of thinking, and their behavior patterns.
    You don’t need to have any prerequisite knowledge of Buddhism or of psychology.
    Please bring a book and pen to take notes.

    Why should you attend?

    Our wellbeing or our non-wellbeing has an enormous effect not only on ourselves but also our family, our friends, our colleagues, and everybody else we are connected to. Thus it is highly important to use this lives and our intellectual abilities to understand the dilemmas of our psyche and the mechanisms behind our feelings and behaviors.

    If you think that the wellbeing of others is important and that their wellbeing is interconnected with yours, then you are very welcome to attend this workshop.

    What is the Program?

    This Workshop lasts 4 hours. There will be a lunch break in between.

    1st Part: Understanding the fundamentals of Western & Buddhist Psychology. 

    The following questions will be addressed from the perspectives of Eastern and Western Psychology:

    How does our mind work?
    How do we construct our opinion and judgments about the outer world?
    How do our emotions arise?
    What is the source of our emotional suffering?
    Which habits can help us to improve our psychological wellbeing?
    Which importance have meditation and mindfulness?

    The participants are encouraged to interact and ask questions.

    2nd Part: The participants will be asked to participate in a group discussion and a private self-investigation using the tools they have learned before.

    The following questions will be addressed:

    What is wellbeing and how can we reach it?
    How can mindfulness increase our sense of wellbeing?
    Using Analytical Meditation to understand ourselves in stressful situations.
